Abdullah Alghamdi is the Head of Strategic Advisory and Growth at Q5 Arabia, with extensive experience in strategic advisory, organisational transformation, and institutional capability development across the public and private sectors in Saudi Arabia.
Throughout his career, Abdullah has partnered with government entities and leading organisations to strengthen organisational effectiveness, develop operating models, enhance institutional capabilities, and support sustainable transformation aligned with strategic priorities.
Prior to joining Q5 Arabia, Abdullah was a Partner at The Professionals, where he led more than 130 consulting engagements, including over 30 large-scale organisational transformation programmes for government entities and leading organisations across the Kingdom. He also served at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), where he contributed to enterprise talent strategy, workforce planning, and organisation-wide talent initiatives.
His expertise spans strategic advisory, strategy development, operating model design, organisational development, organisation design, and workforce transformation. He works closely with executive leadership teams to align organisational capabilities with strategic objectives, improve organisational performance, and enable sustainable change.
At Q5 Arabia, Abdullah leads the firm’s Strategic Advisory and Growth practice, partnering with clients across the public and private sectors to deliver transformation programmes, strengthen organisational effectiveness, and build future-ready organisations that support the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.
Abdullah holds an MSc in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from Northumbria University Newcastle and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and an accredited GC Index Assessor.
